RevoZport Sharpens up the Mercedes ML 63 AMG with “Rezonance”

RevoZport Rezonance ML 63 AMG

Power and precision.

The third-generation Mercedes-Benz ML (W166) may offer some brutally fun power in AMG form, but the carbon fiber specialists at RevoZport believe that more could be done to give drivers a more exciting ride. The new ML 63 AMG is by no means a slouch off the factory floor, but there’s untapped potential beneath the hood that was just begging to be released. So, they did the logical thing and unleashed it for our personal enjoyment.

The fun stuff begins with the new twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V-8 that replaced the naturally-aspirated 6.2-liter monster. The factory 525 horsepower is incredibly appealing, but the RevoZport team wasn’t going to settle for that when it was clear that more could be done to the twin-turbocharger powerhouse. A new carbon fiber air induction system helps air flow freely into the engine while a new lightweight titanium exhaust reduces backpressure for better throttle response and tips the scales at just 6 kg (13.2 lbs). Afterwards, a new ECU management system was installed and power was bumped all the way up to the 600 horsepower mark, turning the ML 63 AMG into a brutal performer on the road.

The fun doesn’t stop there with the RevoZport Rezonance ML 63 AMG, the entire exterior was given a new carbon fiber outfit that sharpens up its aerodynamics and style. The powerful AMG front bumper was outfitted with a new double-decker carbon fiber splitter for some added downforce and all four of the fenders were extended by 30 mm with new carbon fiber components. Pushing down the rear axle at high speeds is a new carbon fiber roof spoiler and a three-piece carbon fiber diffuser with factory AMG exhaust tips. The final stylistic pieces are new carbon fiber side mirrors and grilles.

Filling in the wider wheel arches on the RevoZport Rezonance ML 63 AMG is a new set of bespoke forged aluminum alloy wheels. The ten-spoke multi-piece wheels are finished in satin black and feature a step-lip design for a unique appearance. RevoZport installed the forged wheels in a 22-inch diameter with 13J x 335 sport tires at the front and rear axle to achieve a greater footprint and traction.

RevoZport is offering the entire Rezonance ML 63 AMG aerokit and engine upgrades for the W166 models as part of a special bespoke program. Pricing for the upgrades has not been announced.
