Friday FAIL: A Lamborghini Miura Dies

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

A big FAIL on you, fire, this Friday morning. You suck. Why do you have to go around ruining perfectly good things like Italian cars? We know they have some kind of crazy relationship with you, but the two of you need to start seeing other people, especially when it comes to Italians of the vintage variety. Just stop it. Stop it now, before more hearts are broken after another car is lost.

In central London, a Lamborghini Miura P400SV and its 380 horsepower 4.0-liter V-12 went up in flames. Between 1966 and 1972, only 764 Miuras were built by Lamborghini and just 150 of those were SV variants. Now there’s one less in the world thanks to the Italian car’s love for fire.

According to the driver, he saw smoke in the rear view mirror and suddenly started to see flames. After leaving the car, the fire department was called to put out the flames, but they had already consumed most of the super car. It was a very, very sad sight to see and it was even harder to look at the damage once the flames were put out.

We’re going to guess that this isn’t going to be coming back to life ever. RIP Miura P400SV. You will be missed.
