Top Marques Monaco is one of the premiere automotive events in Europe, playing host to the ultimate exclusive super cars and luxury cars from the rare factory one-off models to the insane aftermarket tuned monsters. This is the place where even the most outrageous can seem “normal” and Prior Design was looking to make a statement with their new PD458 Ferrari 458 Italia tuning program.
The new Prior Design PD458 Ferrari 458 Italia is one of the latest programs from the German tuners and is designed to go up against other top packages from DMC Exotic Car Tuning, Novitec Rosso, and Mansory. The newly-tuned super car headed to Monaco with the Prior Design “Monaco-Team” to show it all off, and make quite the impact.
The new Prior Design PD458 establishes its exotic presence through its more aggressive front fascia. Here, Prior Design installed a new front bumper with enlarged air intakes and vertical slats. This works with the new cup wings, spoiler lip, and hood with air outlets to improve downforce and cooling.
New side skirts visually lower the Ferrari 458 Italia and redirect air away from the rear wheels. The rear also becomes more aggressive with the addition of a new bumper with integrated diffuser and a subtle spoiler that sits between the two taillights to improve high-speed stability.
The exterior upgrades don’t stop there. The Prior Design PD458 was outfitted with a new set of H&R springs that reduce the ride height and overall center of gravity, lending to more dynamic handling. Customers can also opt for either BBS, HRE, Vossen, or other wheel brands, or go with the featured Prior Design 9.0 x 21 front and 12.5 x 22 rear alloy wheels finished in virtually any color.
The mid-mounted 4.5-liter V-8 and its exciting high-revving nature also benefits from a new Power-Package from Prior Design. A new ECU software tune, equal-length exhaust manifolds, 100-cell race catalytic converter, and free-flow stainless steel muffler with valve control increase output by 45 horsepower for a total of 615 proud, prancing ponies.
The new Prior Design PD458 package is currently available for the Ferrari 458 Italia as a complete package or as individual upgrades along with custom options.
