The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 engine provides the main trust in the S500 Plug-In Hybrid and was the beneficiary of the new Brabus PowerXtra B50 kit. The module boosts output to 379 bhp at 5,600 RPM and 405 lb-ft. of torque from 1,600 to 4,000 RPM. That means that the total combined output of the combustion engine and electric motor is at 493 bhp at 656 lb-ft. of torque. The tuning module can also be paired up with a stainless steel sport exhaust system with quad tailpipes bearing the Brabus logo making others think twice about the car being bland and boring.

LED lights are also integrated into the side skirts to provide some visibility at night. The rear fascia is also new and integrates the new quad stainless steel exhaust tips, while a rear spoiler sits atop the trunk for added downforce.
