The Ferrari 599 GTB ruled as the Prancing Horse’s flagship two-seat berlinetta sports car for years, proudly beating the V-12 drum. While the super car has since been replaced by the Ferrari F12Berlinetta, it still holds a top spot in the world of exotics, especially after the team at Inspired Autosport in Toronto added on a set of PUR 1NE forged monoblock wheels along with some other goodies.
Right off the bat, this bright red Ferrari 599 GTB stands out with its new set of PUR 1NE monoblock wheels. The five double-spoke wheels are made from aerospace-grade forged aluminum alloy and are actually lighter than the wheels that came from the factory, meaning that the overall performance of the super car is even better. Their larger size also allows them to achieve higher levels of traction.
Up front, the PUR 1NE forged wheels in the Origin Series measure 9.0 x 21 while the rear comes in at 12.0 x 22, creating a staggered stance that emphasizes the wedge-shaped profile of the 599 GTB. Each wheel boasts a Gloss Black finish while the inner barrel that’s mostly hidden from view sports a body-matching red finish.
But the Ferrari 599 GTB wasn’t finished there. In addition to the new PUR 1NE wheels, Inspired Autosport added on a new set of Novitec Rosso sport springs and a custom-tailored alignment setup to ensure the perfect stance.
The mighty 6.0-liter V-12 engine producing 612 horsepower and 448 lb-ft. of torque in stock form was also given a boost. The factory ECU was equipped with a bespoke tune along with a new Novitec Rosso catalytic converter delete modification with racing pipes to open up the Prancing Horse’s vocal chords.
Armed with a new set of PUR 1NE forged wheels, Novitec Rosso upgrades, and other goodies from Inspired Autosport, this Ferrari 599 GTB will be turning heads for a long time.
