Winter is right around the corner, but who cares when you have a Lamborghini Huracan Spyder? The drop-top Italian exotic is hot enough to melt snow and ice, especially with a new set of PUR Wheels, as the team at SR Auto Group has proved.
The SR Auto Group team in Vancouver decided to stick with the tried-and-true PUR RS05 forged wheels for this Giallo Horus Matt Huracan Spyder.
Part of the reason why the PUR RS05 wheels were chosen was due to their lightweight construction. The aerospace-grade 6061-T6 forged aluminum alloy that makes up the monoblock wheels keeps rotating mass at the wheel hub to a minimum for better overall performance. They’re also stronger than your average cast wheel, meaning that they can handle all 602 horsepower the Huracan Spyder throws at them.
Not only are the PUR RS05 wheels designed for performance, but their styling matches the jagged, exotic character of the Huracan Spyder. The angular and complex five twisting spokes complements the body work perfectly. Add in a Gloss Black finish and they draw just the right amount of attention.
For this Lamborghini Huracan Spyder, the SR Auto Group team installed the PUR RS05 wheels in a staggered 9.0 x 20 front and 12.5 x 21 rear setup, showing the rear-wheel bias of the super car’s all-wheel drive system.
The winter may be coming soon, but this Lamborghini Huracan Spyder and its PUR RS05 wheels will be turning up the heat.
