Limited Production Lexus LS 460 Touring Edition

Bringing some excitement to the executive sedan.

The LS is the flagship of the Lexus line, a comfortable full-size luxury sedan that offers Lexus build quality and refinement. With the LS, Lexus has decided to focus more on comfort rather than the driving dynamics that many of its German rivals offer. But, with the new limited production Touring package, Lexus hopes to attract a younger buyer with a sportier limited edition.

“The Touring Edition adds excitement to our flagship sedan,” said Mark Templin, Lexus Division group vice president and general manager. “The package on this car enhances styling and comfort, allowing us to attract younger buyers to the LS line-up.

The new Touring Edition will be available on the 2011 LS 460 rear-wheel and all-wheel drive models. The LS 460 Touring Edition will come standard with a number of features such as wood and leather trimmed steering wheel and shift knob, matte brown wood trim, black and saddle leather trimmed seats, and premium floor mats. There is also a sportier appearance to the Touring Edition. The exterior is dressed in Smoky Granite Mica paint, 19-inch five-spoke alloy wheels (18 inch for AWD), a sport body kit, a painted grille, and even sport seats.

“The LS 460 Touring Edition is a unique package of sporty exterior styling and comfort. With limited units available nationwide they’ll sell out fast to customers who want an all-inclusive luxury package,” said Templin.

The Lexus LS 460 Touring Edition will be available in limited quantities with an MSRP of $73,000 (excluding $875 handling, processing, and delivery fee). The Touring Editions will arrive on dealer lots in late June/early July of this year.
