Oh Z06, you sound so dirty.
The 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 was one of the big stars of the show at the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. It’s big LT4 supercharged V-8 engine is expected to spit out about 625 horsepower and 635 lb-ft. of torque while its superb aerodynamics feed the engine with cool and generate massive amounts of downforce. Simply put, this new Z06 is spectacular.
As of now, General Motors hasn’t unveiled the official specifications and likely won’t for some time. There’s no official video of the new sports car tearing up a track, revving, or anything besides walkarounds. But we do have a little clip of an exhaust note from YouTube user, DtRockstar1, who was at the NAIAS. The Corvette Z06 is only at idle, but it sounds like there’s some sort of devilish thing hiding under that hood.
