Mansory is known for their outrageous body kits and custom-tailored interior designs made to suit the most unique of automotive tastes. Their newest upgrade for the Porsche Cayenne Turbo / Turbo S instead focuses just on power, and it too is pretty special.
Mansory has developed a new plug-and-play Powerbox for the mighty twin-turbocharged 4.8-liter V-8 engines found in the Porsche Cayenne Turbo and Turbo S models. The engines hold a large amount of potential due to their forced induction nature right from the factory and the Swiss branch of Mansory decided to take advantage.
The Porsche Cayenne Turbo gains a healthy amount of power thanks to the Mansory Powerbox. In total, 570 bhp at 6,000 RPM and 612 lb-ft. of torque from 2,500 to 4,000 RPM is produced with the new plug-and-play unit, allowing the SUV to reach 62 mph from rest in just 4.1 seconds, compared to 4.5 seconds stock.
The most powerful variant in the lineup, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S sees even more muscle from the Mansory Powerbox. The 4.8-liter, twin-turbocharged V-8 is pushed to 620 bhp at 6,000 RPM and 642 lb-ft. of torque from 2,500 to 4,000 RPM. That same 0-62 mph sprint takes just 3.8 seconds instead of the 4.1-second factory time.
The new Mansory Powerbox for the Porsche Cayenne Turbo / Turbo S is priced at 4,900 Euros plus VAT. Of course, a wide range of crazy body work, chassis upgrades, and interior customization is also available to create a one-of-a-kind, high-performance SUV.
