Bentley adds a touch of sporty elegance.
The Bentley Continental is already one of the most impressive GT cars currently available, providing bespoke luxuries and superb performance. Bentley has taken the Continental GT Coupe a step further with the new Mulliner Styling Specification. The new package gives customers the option to give their Continental even more road presence with new carbon fiber and wheel options.
“The Mulliner Styling Specification, with its sharper lines and darker, lower appearance subtly underscores the extrovert, flamboyant nature of our new Coupe,” said Raul Pires, Head of Exterior Design. “It delivers a more personalized, sportive interpretation of a luxurious, refined GT.”
The new Mulliner Styling Specification gives customers more performance-oriented customization for the Continental GT Coupe. Each of the enhancements has endured rigorous performance and weather testing to ensure maximum durability and quality. Each of the high-gloss black carbon fiber pieces has been woven in a distinct weave design and mirror-matched for a seamless pattern.
The standard Classic Pack in the Mulliner Styling Specification gives the Continental new exterior aerodynamics that provides the GT with a more imposing presence. The front is fitted with a new carbon fiber bumper splitter for improved downforce and new carbon fiber side strakes integrated into the lower air intakes of the bumper. Along each side of the Continental GT are new carbon fiber blades that are fitted under the sills, and lend to a more muscular appearance. At the rear, the Classic pack features a new carbon fiber diffuser for improved aerodynamics.
As part of the Mulliner Styling Specification, customers also have a variety of additional options. The self-deploying rear spoiler that comes standard on the Continental can be replaced with a new carbon fiber unit. Each of the side mirrors can also be replaced with carbon fiber mirrors. In addition to the carbon fiber upgrades, customers can choose to equip their Continental with new 21-inch seven-spoke Elegant alloy wheels in a dramatic black finish with bright machined detailing. To highlight the new wheels, Bentley offers new curved wing vents with dark chrome and carbon fiber that are positioned behind the front fenders and provide improved heat dissipation.
The Classic Pack of the Mulliner Styling Specification will be available in June of 2011, with the optional accessories being made available in August of 2011 for the Bentley Continental GT. The equipment will only be available at authorized Bentley dealerships and be installed by factory-trained technicians. The Classic Pack will be priced at $9,775.00. The optional door mirrors are priced at $2,905.00, the rear spoiler at $2,905.00, the wheels at $7,700.00, and the vented wings at $6,174.00.
