Thirteen Super Cars worth approx. $2M Impounded in Vancouver

When it’s nice to have rich parents…

On August 31st, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police seized approximately 2 million dollars worth of supercars for allegedly street racing. Many of the drivers still had their “New Driver” decals still displayed on the rear.

The group of drivers reportedly reached speeds of over 200 km/h (124 mph), while pair of the super cars was used to block traffic. Each of the 13 drivers were charged with Driving without Reasonable Consideration (a $196 fine), and are responsible for the towing and storage costs of the cars.
