Snake bitten in Virginia.
The new 2013 SRT Viper GTS-R is mad, really mad as a matter of fact all because it can’t race yet in the American Le Mans Series. So what does a pissed off Viper GTS-R do?
Take its anger out on Virginia International Raceway.
We saw the SRT Viper GTS-R testing earlier as it began preparations to compete in the American Le Mans Series. The team is hoping to get a few races under its belt by the end of the season, and we cannot wait for a Corvette vs Viper battle in the series. The Corvette Racing teams have been quite successful over the past few seasons, but the Viper is looking to dethrone the team in an epic American battle.
We will most likely have to wait until the next season of ALMS before we see the two teams really slug it out. Until then, we’re left with some roaring V-10 testing footage and hopes that the Viper GTS-R will compete in the final few races in ALMS.
