Huracán who?
Although the Lamborghini Huracán has grabbed headlines as the next big thing, the Gallardo that it replaced is still quite the bull. The Gallardo may be out of production, but the team at WheelsandMore decided to have a bit of fun with the SuperTrofeo LP 570-4 and the Superleggera.
The featured vibrant red Lamborghini Gallardo SuperTrofeo LP 570-4 was given a relatively simple but impactful upgrade program starting with its 5.2-liter V-10 engine. The naturally-aspirated, mid-mounted engine was outfitted with a new pair of carbon-frame air filters and a lightweight valve-controlled exhaust system to optimize backpressure. A new ECU software tune was installed to accommodate for the new modifications and the result is an impressive 620 horsepower and 435 lb-ft. of torque.
The next part of the conversion for the WheelsandMore Lamborghini Gallardo SuperTrofeo LP 570-4 was below the beltline. The factory set of wheels and tires were swapped out for new WheelsandMore F.I.W.E. wheels. The three-piece forged wheels were installed in a 9.5 x 20 front and 11.0 x 20 rear setup and keep weight to a minimum.
In the other corner is the black Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera. The more tamed of the two bulls was given a visual makeover rather than focusing on its engine. The WheelsandMore team installed their F.I.W.E. three-piece forged wheels in a 9.5 x 20 and 12.0 x 20 fitment with forged centers. A dark carbon-look finish has been applied to each wheel to complement the factory black paint. Additionally, new 245/30/20 and 305/25/20 high-performance tires were also installed.
The Lamborghini Gallardo may have come to an end in favor of the new Huracán, but the team at WheelsandMore ensures that it will always be exciting.
