G-Power Makes a 1,001 HP One-of-One G6M V10 Hurricane CS

Speeding through the UAE.

G-Power already makes unique vehicles with their wide array of high-powered supercharger kits, forged wheels, body work, and other upgrade packs. While these are all pretty rare sights to see, they don’t compare to the one-off G-Power G6M V10 Hurricane CS packed with 1,001 horsepower and a full carbon fiber widebody kit that’s speeding around the UAE right now.

This super-exclusive one-off was carefully designed, upgraded, and manufactured by G-Power for a customer in the UAE that wanted to create the ultimate sports car that was based on the S85 V-10 and bring their Formula 1 idea back to life.

The basis for the new G-Power G6M V10 Hurricane CS is an E63 BMW M6. The entire body has been taken to the next level thanks to a full carbon fiber widebody kit shaped in a wind tunnel. Flared wheel arches, and large air intakes on the front bumper, hood, and rear fenders instantly set it apart from the pack. A front spoiler lip, pair of side skirts, rear spoiler wing, and rear valence help to keep the one-off supercar planted on the road.

Under that ventilated hood sits a force-fed S85 V-10 engine that breaks the four-digit horsepower mark. A G-Power SK III bi-supercharger system with new cold-air intake system and ram air effect ducting, larger intercoolers, water and oil coolers, and ECU mapping dramatically changes the character of the V-10. A new ultra-light titanium exhaust with racing catalytic converters cuts down on backpressure and ends in two centrally-mounted 120 mm tailpipes with a Formula 1 soundtrack.

After the conversion, the G-Power G6M V10 Hurricane CS makes a whopping 1,001 horsepower at 8,000 RPM and 664 lb-ft. of torque at 6,000 RPM. Armed with the optional taller final drive, the super coupe can reach a top speed of 231 mph (372 mph). Getting there is a white-knuckled breeze too, with 62 mph coming in only 4.3 seconds, 124 mph in 9.0 seconds, and 186 mph in 21.5 seconds from rest.

With so much power being produced by the 5.0-liter V-10 engine, the G-Power G6M V10 Hurricane CS needed to have numerous chassis upgrades to accommodate. So, G-Power engineers developed a suspension upgrade that was track tested and tuned before being signed off as the ‘Nürburgring Setup’. The setup utilizes a set of fully-adjustable coilovers to boost stability and reduce the center of gravity as well as a set of ceramic brakes. The brakes use massive 400 mm vented discs to bring the coupe to a halt without fade.

Attempting to hide all of those upgrades are new lightweight forged G-Power alloy wheels. New G-Power Hurricane RR five double-spoke alloys measure 9.0 x 21 up front and 10.5 x 21 at the rear and wear 255/25 ZR21 and 295/30 ZR21 rear Michelin tires that can handle the incredible speed and grip requirements of the G6M V10 Hurricane CS.

The interior of the G-Power G6M V10 Hurricane CS is equally as impressive as the extravagant exterior design. Here, G-Power craftsmen fitted leather, alcantara, and carbon fiber everywhere. Diamond-stitched leather is worn throughout and even found its way into the footwells and pillars while Alcantara headliner also boasts decorative stitching. The roof features a G-Power plaque bearing the name of its owner along with an LED light bar to signify its exclusiveness. Lightweight, carbon fiber-backed seats sport the G-Power logo on the headrests and hold passengers in place. Clear-coated carbon fiber is on display on the center console and dashboard while the G6M V10 Hurricane CS name is worn on the door panels. The pure power and speed of the coupe is mirrored through the 400 km/h re-worked speedometer.

The new G-Power G6M V10 Hurricane CS is strictly a one-off vehicle that was flown to its owner in the UAE from Germany. The one-off showcases the capabilities that G-Power is able to achieve and likely won’t be the last of its kind from the German tuning company.
