PD800GT TIME!
The new Mercedes-AMG GT/GT S is one sassy coupe that’s distinctly German. It’s long, wide, low look and curvy figure is oh-so-sexy. Prior Design, however, took things to the next level in terms of styling with their newly-designed PD800GT widebody kit for the Mercedes-AMG GT/GT S.
A fat, wide stance with mean looks was the goal for the Prior Design PD800GT kit with the Mercedes-AMG GT S. The German sports car and its twin-turbocharged V-8 exude a confident snarl with the new Fiberglass-Duraflex body work that’s optimized for cooling and downforce.
Up front, the Mercedes-AMG GT S benefits from a new add-on spoiler and cup wings for downforce while two-piece air intakes and a ventilated hood keep things cool, calm, and collected. Both the front and rear fenders have been extended and add some visual muscle that’s backed up by the growling 4.0-liter V-8 engine. The two sets of flared fenders are each connected by new side sills that visually lower the ride height of the Mercedes-AMG GT S and send air away from the rear wheels.
At the rear of the sports car sits a new diffuser setup that perfectly integrates the factory trapezoidal tailpipes and includes fins for better stability. A trunk-mounted spoiler mirrors the classic Porsche ‘ducktail’ design and generates downforce for the rear axle.
In addition to the Prior Design PD800GT Widebody aerodynamic package, customers can also opt for the PD3Forged three-piece superlight forged wheels (shown) in a number of different finishes. Upgraded exhaust systems, sport suspensions, and interior modifications are also available to create a custom-tailored sports car.
