wheelsandmore gives the Ferrari California some Power and Soul

But is it a true Ferrari?

The Ferrari California has received mixed reviews since its debut. While journalists and prospective buyers love the idea of a 2+2 convertible Ferrari, many purists claim that it’s not a “true Ferrari.” So, can wheelsandmore turn the controversial convertible into something that the purists can appreciate, or will it still hold the stigma of not being a real Italian sports car?

The California has a number of powertrain “firsts” from Ferrari. It is the first front-engined Ferrari with a V-8, the first with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, and the first to utilize gasoline direct injection. wheelsandmore has taken advantage of these new technologies with their Ferrari tuning upgrades. The 4.3-liter V-8 gains 40 horsepower and 40 lb-ft. of torque with a remote-controlled stainless steel exhaust system and a retuned ECU, bringing the total output to 500 horsepower and 525 lb-ft. of torque. For even more power, customers can also order the handcrafted 200-cell catalytic converter and premuffler replacement tubes.

In the handling department, wheelsandmore stays true to its name and given the California wheels and more. A new set of lightweight 6Sporz² 9 x 21 front and 12.5 x 21 rear wheels create a more custom look, and wear 245/30/21 front and 345/25/21Hankook S1 Evo tires. Each of the wheels can be custom made in a variety of finishes or colors to customer specification. To further improve handling, new lowering springs have been installed and lower the car by 40 mm.

wheelsandmore can also give the Ferrari California a one-of-a-kind look with a complete exterior conversion. The package consists of a double-line race stripe, lacquered stock parts, black plasma-coasted exhaust tips, front and rear carbon fiber bumper components, a trunk spoiler, and side skirts. The exterior design and aerodynamic package is available only as a complete car conversion.

The wheelsandmore Ferrari California is currently available as a complete car. Customers can also order individual accessories. Pricing has not been released.
