Nine of the best duke it out!

MotorTrend is back with their exciting drag race between nine of their top-rated driver’s cars of 2012 to see how they each stack up against each other in a straight line. Not every car is matched up evenly, as a range of drivetrains are used throughout the competitors, but it still makes for an exciting race. Let’s take a look at the competition.

Jaguar XKR-S: 550 hp/502 lb-ft.
Ford Shelby GT500: 662 hp/631 lb-ft.
Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4: 691 hp/509 lb-ft.
Nissan GT-R Black Edition: 545 hp/463 lb-ft.
McLaren MP4-12C: 592 hp/443 lb-ft.
Porsche 911 Carrera S: 400 hp/325 lb-ft.
Chevrolet Camaro ZL1: 580 hp/556 lb-ft.
Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series Coupe: 510 hp/457 lb-ft.
Subaru BRZ: 200 hp/151 lb-ft.

In the last Great Supercar Drag Race, the Nissan GT-R came out on top, beating the fierce competition of driver’s cars in 2011. Will the 2012 model with even more power keep its top spot amongst a few of the newcomers such as the McLaren or the Lamborghini? Who comes in first? Not the BRZ…

Watch the video and find out who wins!
