An SUV with a ton of “Sport.”
The second-generation Porsche Cayenne (958) is continuing the sales success of the first generation model that created quite a bit of controversy. The SUV originally angered enthusiasts who believed it wasn’t a “true” Porsche. The second generation is arguably more “Porsche” than the first generation and A Kahn Design has made it more exclusive than ever.
The British design team had previously transformed the first generation Porsche Cayenne with a wide track upgrade. That same formula for sport and success was used in the new, second-generation Cayenne by A Kahn Design.
The new Porsche Cayenne Wide Track Edition is a bold, powerful automotive statement. The athletic SUV wears a wide track aerodynamic styling package that gives it broad shoulders that exude confidence. Both the front and rear fenders were replaced with wider arches with vents. The front set of wheel arches feature LED daytime running lights that run vertically. Both the front and rear bumpers were color coded and wear contrasting new matte pearl grey inserts, while the front was given special carbon fiber accents. At the rear sits a lower trunk spoiler that helps generate downforce to keep the SUV composed at higher speeds. Between the extended front and rear fenders on the Porsche Cayenne Wide Track Edition is an illuminated welcome lighting system for low lighting conditions.
A Kahn Design also gave the sporty SUV some chassis upgrades to create a more dynamic ride. New, modern Kahn RS600 wheels were installed in a 22-inch diameter with the rear pair featuring a concave design. Each wheel can be custom finished and accommodates the stock center caps. Behind each of the wheels are liquid red brake calipers and sport suspension springs. The Porsche Cayenne Wide Track Edition also has a meaner growl thanks to a new stainless steel quad exhaust system.
The interior of the A Kahn Design Porsche Cayenne Wide Track Edition was given a custom-tailored array of luxurious upgrades. Passengers are treated to quilted claret and perforated leather seats and center arm rest. Even the handles on the center console and doors were finished in the soft red leather. Facing the driver is a red tachometer and other cream colored gauges.
The new A Kahn Design Porsche Cayenne Wide Track Edition for the second-generation (958) German SUV is currently available. The featured model can be purchased for £77,875 or customers can create their own unique SUV based on their specifications.
