The 997.2-generation Porsche 911 may be old news with the new 991s on the streets, but Cam Shaft is still churning out some 997-gen head-turners such as this 911 Carrera Cabriolet. What began as a basic 911 rag-top has become a beautiful blue and gold work of art with a contrasting black and white interior.
The owner of this Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet wanted to create something that could easily make a statement, so the team at Cam Shaft Premium Car Wrapping installed one of their Matte Sapphire wraps with a contrasting set of gold-colored stripes and lettering. Two Porsche stripes run lengthwise along the bottom of the car while a “Porsche Motorsport” badge in red and black runs with gold and black lines on the front hood. Even the classic Porsche logo runs across the top of the windshield in gold.
Before the wrap was installed on the 911 Carrera Cabriolet, Cam Shaft installed a new set of TechArt side skirts and a more dynamic OEM Porsche 911 GT3 front bumper. To complete the look, new OZ Ultraleggera wheels with a gold finish that measure 8.5 x 20 up front and a staggered 12.0 x 20 at the rear with 235/25 ZR20 front and 305/20 ZR20 rear tires. Tying everything together is a set of Bilstein B16 coilovers that lower the overall ride height and sharpen up the handling.
The 3.6-liter flat-six engine hovering over the rear axle was also given a bit of attention thanks to PP-Performance. The German tuners installed a new exhaust system with headers and integrated valves along with a Stage 2 tune to push output from 345 to 380 horsepower.
Cam Shaft Premium Car Wrapping is offering up the Matte Sapphire wrap for 2,100 Euros with the stripes costing an additional 780 Euros. Customers that would like all of the door paneling and visible edges wrapped can add on another 720 Euros.
