You won’t see this every day…
There is so much to like and enjoy at Monterey Car Week that sometimes it can be just too much for a car enthusiast to handle. When you have cars on the level of a McLaren P1 GTR rolling through the streets, it’s easy to see why things can be overwhelming.
This McLaren P1 GTR dressed in yellow with red striping isn’t supposed to be driving on the streets but the track-spec monster is doing so anyway because of one of two things: it’s been made road-legal with a kit or the driver and the police don’t care during an automotive event such as this.
Whatever the case may be, it’s absolutely mesmerizing to see a 986 bhp hybrid track-spec hyper car roaming on the asphalt with its twin-turbocharged V-8 emitting a spooling whirl of thunder.
