The Audi R8 V10 Plus is the top non-special-edition road-going version of the R8 that you can get your hands on and boy is it fun to drive and look at. It’s hard to imagine that it can get any better without some serious hardware upgrades, but this Ara Blue Crystal R8 V10 Plus with PUR RS05 forged wheels is just that. Better.
The forged monoblock PUR RS05 wheels with their angular, directional spoke design are perfect for the Audi R8 V10 Plus in that they exude confidence, have an eye-catching style, and put performance at the forefront. The 6061-T6 aluminum alloy that makes up each wheel is extremely dense from the forged manufacturing process, which removes microscopic imperfections and results in a high-strength structure with a lower overall weight compared to cast wheels.
Here, the five double-spoke, directional PUR RS05 wheels were each given a slick Anthracite finish that provides some contrast to the vibrant Ara Blue Crystal exterior paint while the optional Raw Carbon center caps match the trim details.
