Dropping the top for some summer fun.
One of the best ways to enjoy summer is with an open-top sports car. Going for a cruise with the top down, the sun in the sky, and the sound of the engine roaring as you slice through corners is a memorable experience. With summer right around the corner, Vorsteiner decided to show off a set of their Flow Forged V-FF 101 wheels on a new 981-generation Porsche Boxster S.
The Boxster is one of Porsche’s more successful sports car models due to the fact that it provides superb mid-engine driving dynamics along with an easy-to-use convertible top in a relatively affordable package. The Boxster S takes performance up a notch with its 315 horsepower flat-six cylinder engine and 0-60 mph time less than 5.0 seconds, depending on the transmission. Simply put, it’s one of the best cars to enjoy a warm, sunny day driving with a set of Vorsteiner V-FF 101 wheels.
The Vorsteiner V-FF 101 Flow Forged wheels were the perfect option for the white Boxster S. The lightweight flow forged manufacturing process offers up a lightweight and strong forged wheel option for sports car owners that want some added style. This allows for 19-inch diameter wheels to start at just 22 lbs. while the larger 20-inch wheels begin at 23 lbs. a piece.
On the Porsche Boxster S, the Vorsteiner V-FF 101 wheels were installed in a staggered 8.5J x 20 front and 10.0J x 20 rear setup and feature a textured gunmetal finish to provide some contrast to the factory white paint. The front set of V-FF 101 forged wheels wear high-performance Yokohama S.drive tires in a 245/35/20 size while the rear pair wears 275/35/20 tires to achieve even more grip.
The Porsche Boxster S with Vorsteiner V-FF 101 Flow Forged wheels is the perfect car for those long summer cruises.
