The Porsche 981 Boxster is a quick and nimble drop-top sports car from Stuttgart that offers a brilliant mid-engine layout with superb handling. Porsche also brought back some classic design features from its vintage racers and the result was a roadster that shines with character. Schmidt Revolution wanted to improve upon that unique styling and character that makes the Boxster so impressive so the installed a set of their new, custom-tailored Gambit wheels.
The one-piece Schmidt Revolution Gambit wheels feature a mesh design that is often seen on German sports cars, making the Porsche Boxster a perfect fit. The Schmidt Revolution Gambit wheels are offered in 19-inch diameters with silver and black finishes and a polished outline, as well as 20-inch diameters in matte black. The one-piece design ensures a low overall weight compared to similar multi-piece wheels due to the lack of additional hardware, thus allowing performance to be the focus.
On this Agate Grey Metallic Porsche Boxster with vibrant red top, Schmidt Revolution installed a set of their one-piece Gambit wheels in a seamless and stylish fitment with custom-tailored built-in offsets for better stability. The team opted for a pair of 8.5 x 20s up front and wider 10.0 x 20s at the rear where the power is put to the road. To ensure maximum grip in the turns, new 245/30-20er performance tires were installed up front while the rear boasts a pair of 285/30-20s. The final touch is a set of Eibach springs that lower the overall ride height by 30 mm and allow for a clean, flush look while improving handling performance.
