Flat 6 Motorworks Exposed

Pure Automotive Passion.

Ever since the automobile was introduced it has been raced. Numerous automakers saw racing events as a chance to test new technology and build better cars than the competition. The same formula still applies today with a large number of automobile companies taking part in a vast array of different racing series as test beds for the latest innovations. Since racing can be a rather expensive endeavor, many aftermarket and performance tuning companies choose not to participate.

At Flat 6 Motorworks in Doral, Florida, the commitment to racing is a fundamental part of the business. The valuable knowledge and experience gathered from motorsports sets Flat 6 Motorworks apart from the competition. Understanding how a car will perform when pushed to the limit gives the company an advantage with the service and tuning of cars.

The Florida-based company specializes in factory service of Porsche, Audi, Ferrari, and Lamborghini automobiles. Anything from oil changes, tire care, and brakes to major and minor engine and drivetrain service can be carried out in a state-of-the-art facility with friendly and personal one-on-one service. The shop isn’t just about quality service for your sports car; they also bring forth a wealth of performance tuning and racing preparation services.

Flat 6 Motorworks offers a full range of quality performance upgrades whether its exhaust, brake, or engine modifications, or full-on race conversions. In addition to the performance upgrades, Flat 6 Motorworks is also one of the few registered conversion centers for GMG Racing and is an authorized dealer of RaceTech, RaceKeeper, Endless Brakes, Braille Battery, and RENNtech products.

The experience gained from racing is what sets Flat 6 Motorworks apart from the competition. The shop owns, races, and maintains a 2008 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup dressed in a Creamsicle Orange and White livery. The No. 311 Cup car is driven Gustavo Figueroa, and has achieved three podiums and a first place finish in July at Homestead-Miami Speedway. In September, Gustavo will be joined by Daniel Isaia and his 2007 997 GT3 Cup Car to race under Flat 6 Motorworks. Isaia brings a decorated racing career that includes a 2010 NASA Time Trial Championship in TTS that was won in a 2006 996 GT3 track-prepped by Flat 6 Motorworks.

Flat 6 Motorworks specializes in performance upgrades, factory servicing, and is a registered dealer of RaceTech, RaceKeeper, Endless Brakes, Braille Battery, and RENNtech products for Porsche, Audi, Ferrari, and Lamborghini cars. Flat 6 Motorworks will be racing at Daytona International Speedway in the Central Florida Aug Double SARRC on August 6th, so be sure to check them out!
