Get behind the Wheel of a Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing

Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing Hill Climb

Time to rally a classic.

The Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing is an automotive icon that packed quite a few number of firsts and blazed a trail as one of the greatest sports cars of all time. Today, these cars are usually kept dust-free and never touched in showrooms to preserve their incredible value. There are, however, a few owners that drive them like they should be, and this is one of them.

This rare treat is brought to you by S.H.R.T. Swiss Historic Racing Team as Daniel Müller drives a 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing during the 2012 International Arosa ClassicCar hill climb.

The car isn’t being babied either, it’s pushed to its limits and even loses traction hard a few times. Thankfully, Müller holds steady and is able to finish the race with that straight-six singing its beautiful tunes.
