The Leib Engineering E92 GT300 takes the BMW 325i to the Next Level

This BMW 325i packs quite a punch.

The BMW 325i isn’t the pinnacle of performance in the 3-Series model range like its 335i and M3 siblings. But the team at Leib Engineering had other ideas in mind and is giving owners of the E92 BMW 325i models with rear- or all-wheel drive the chance to take down their more powerful counterparts when it comes to performance and style.

The new Leib Enigneering E92 GT300 takes the factory 3.0-liter N53B30 inline-six cylinder engine to another level of performance. The naturally-aspirated engine with stock 218 horsepower benefits from a new set of Supersprint front pipes and middle muffler, and a 330i performance rear muffler with valve control that can be altered by the M-function steering wheel to add 15 horsepower. Leib Engineering also modified the suction manifold and the ECU with a tune to result in a total of 310 horsepower. Power is transferred to either all four or just the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic controlled by a pair of new black anodized shift paddles on the steering wheel.

While the power is enough to rival the 335i, the E92 GT300’s chassis is where it really shines. The Leib Engineering team installed a set of KW Variant 3 coilovers to sharpen handling and offer adjustable setting for any given track or road. Even the brakes underwent an upgrade with new six-piston calipers and 338 mm discs on the front axle and two-piston, 324 mm discs at the rear for better stopping power. The finishing touch is a set of BBS CH-R lightweight alloy wheels in an 8.5 x 19 front and 9.5 x 19 rear setup with 235/35R19 and 275/30R19 Pirelli P Zero tires.

Besides the more dynamic stance, the Leib Engineering team kept most of the exterior unchanged excerpt for a new Kerscher spoiler at the rear and a BMW performance rear diffuser in black-matte. Inside, the black anodized shift paddles and optional character trim can be installed.

The Leib Engineering E92 BMW GT300 is available for all E92 BMW 325i models with or without all-wheel drive.
