A touch of class, character, and some torque-filled diesel power.
Stuttgart’s newest Cayenne SUV has been engineered to offer more sport, comfort, and even greater functionality and efficiency. These values instilled by Porsche have been incorporated into Lumma Design’s latest tuning and styling program for the new Cayenne. The program gives the Cayenne a sportier and classy character while improving both fuel efficiency and power for the diesel engine.
The goal of Lumma Design’s latest styling package was to improve the sporty exterior character of the Cayenne while avoiding an overstated look. To achieve this, the Winterlingen-based company is offering two new sets light alloy wheels and sport exhaust pipes. For customers looking for a more stock look, Lumma offers five-spoke Mono 22 wheels in a silver finish, measuring 10 x 22 all around. Those who wish to step up and give their Cayenne a more athletic look can opt for the 11 x 23, two-tone Mono 23 wheels with molded spokes. Both sets of wheels are shod in high-performance tires for greater grip. To complete the Cayenne’s sporty styling package, four 90 mm burnished and chrome-plated stainless steel exhaust pipe deflectors are fitted.
To back up the sporty looks of the Cayenne, Lumma Design has the D-Box plug-and-play engine software module for the 3.0-liter diesel V-6. The D-Box takes power from 240 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque to an impressive 276 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque by optimizing engine electronics. Although the power output is increased with the D-Box, fuel efficiency is not sacrificed. In fact, it is improved because the D-Box helps the Cayenne to operate at lower engine speeds. To give the 3.0-liter diesel a bit of flash to go along with the added power, Lumma offers an optics engine package with new, red-coated covers and a metal Lumma Design logo.
The goal of achieving greater functionality and style is also found in the interior with Lumma’s new accessories. Focusing on the driver and putting emphasis on the increased power, new, machined aluminum pedals are available with rubber nubs to ensure the driver’s foot is secure. Underneath the new pedals is a set of four Lumma Porsche floor mats edged with either animal skin or optional nubuck, and embroidered with the Lumma Design logo. To match the pedals, matte aluminum door sills are available for a sporty look. The most functional aspect of the interior program is the trunk floor mat. The new mat bears the Lumma Design logo and can be optioned with real leather edging. Optionally, the mat can be fitted with a boot sill protector to prevent rear bumper scratches while loading the trunk.
The new tuning and styling program for the latest Porsche Cayenne is can be ordered with either individual accessories or the full package. All accessories come with a TÜV certificate, and can be fitted at Lumma Design’s headquarters or a specialized service center.
