…and you thought the Veyron was fast.
One of the superstars at the 2011 Goodwood Festival of Speed was the Hennessey Venom GT. Based on a heavily modified Lotus Exige/Elise and packing a 1,200 horsepower twin-turbocharged 6.2-liter V-8, the super car is a sort of Frankenstein experiment in lightweight speed.
The Venom GT made an official appearance at the 2011 Goodwood Festival of Speed and wowed spectators with its blistering acceleration and potent V-8. Hennessey Performance has put together a few videos of the Festival for those that weren’t lucky enough to attend.
