Slice through air with sexy curves.

It wasn’t too long ago that TechART was previewing their new Porsche 991 tuning program that would be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show. Now that the show is underway, the German tuner took the wraps off the sports car and officially released the new TechART 991 upgrade program.

One main area of focus for TechART was the exterior of the new Porsche 991 911 Carrera and Carrera S. The wider, lower, and sleeker model was given a full aerodynamic makeover by the German tuner. At the front of the TechART 991 sits a new front spoiler with integrated splitter for better downforce and new aero wings. To differentiate the model from the stock Carrera, new headlight and side mirror covers were fitted. Side skirts calm airflow along the side of the sports car. Downforce is created at the rear through the use of a new fixed rear spoiler with integrated brake light, and a rear diffuser with exhaust outlets.

The entire exterior kit can be installed in a wide range of colors or visible carbon fiber to match or contrast the exterior paint.

The chassis of the TechART 991 was also upgraded with new, lightweight alloy or forged wheels. Customers can order the TechART Formula five-spoke alloy wheels or the TechART Formula III forged wheels in 20- and 21-inch diameters. The Formula III wheels are 15 percent lighter than comparable cast wheels and improve overall driving performance due to their lower weight.

The interior of the Porsche 911 Carrera and Carrera S can be upgraded with custom tailored accessories from TechART. The show car in Geneva was fitted with black leather and alcantara contrasted by yellow stitching. The dashboard and trim pieces were also replaced with carbon fiber, matte racing yellow, and matte black pieces. Facing the driver is a TechART three-spoke steering wheel with paddle shifters that offers greater control over the standard unit.

No performance engine upgrades are currently available for the TechART 991 Porsche 911. The German company does offer an exhaust system with valve control and stainless steel tubes with “TECHART” lettering.

The TechART 991 Porsche 911 upgrade program is currently available as an entire package or as individual units. Customers can also order new parts with unique paint or custom finishes. Pricing has not been released.
