Intelligent Performance for the future.
As Porsche evolves towards the future, it’s Intelligent Performance strategy is becoming more and more present as efficient technology is making its way into all of the cars wearing the brand’s crest. One of the latest concepts is the new Porsche Sport Turismo which utilizes a new hybrid system and a number of other “green” technologies to make it an efficient and performance-oriented people carrier.
The new Panamera Sport Turismo Concept features virtually every design cue from the Porsche brand along with a new shooting brake fly-line, giving it a distinct appearance. It’s powered by a supercharged, 335-horsepower V-6 engine mated with a 95-horsepower electric motor that’s good for a 30 km pure electric driving range.
The Sport Turismo Concept will be controversial amongst Porsche enthusiasts, especially those that still can’t get over the Cayenne SUV. Much of the technology featured here is likely to make its way into the future Porsche lineup, and we hope that the center console with touch technology is one of the first pieces to make the jump.
