wheelsandmore Audi R8 v10.6 Exposed

Ten cylinders and 600 horsepower – the v10.6 R8 upgrade.

Didn’t get a chance to get your hands on one of the 333 Audi R8 GTs? wheelsandmore has your solution with the new v10.6 tuning program for the R8 5.2 that pumps out an outrageous amount of horsepower and further improves handling.

Sitting behind the driver in the stock R8 5.2 is a high-revving V-10 that produces a whopping 525 horsepower. This wasn’t enough for wheelsandmore however, who decided it was necessary to upgrade the ECU and bring output to an impressive 600 horsepower and 590 lb-ft. of torque. Also contributing to the 65 horsepower, 200 lb-ft. of torque increase in the wheelsandmore R8 is a new handmade stainless steel full exhaust system with controllable valve flaps that allow for a bold or subdued exhaust note.

The mid-engine layout of the wheelsandmore R8 gives the sportscar a superb weight distribution and predictable handling dynamics. To further enhance the car’s agility, wheelsandmore has fitted new lightweight wheels and adjustable suspension components. Multi-spoke three-piece C-Sport wheels are installed and available in a virtually unlimited number of different colors and finishes. Up front, the 9 x 20 C-Sport wheels wear 235/30/20 Continental Sport Contact III tires, while the 11 x 20 wheels fitted to the rear axle are shod in 295/25/20 tires. The increased grip is further improved with the addition of KW race coilovers with adjustable rebound and compression.

Customers can order the complete v10.6 upgrade or order individual components for their Audi R8. The wheelsandmore R8 package is currently available, and pricing can be obtained by visiting www.wheelsandmore.de.
