Bugatti, along with many other luxury automakers, is looking to make an impression this year in the Chinese market. So, just like Ferrari, Audi, Aston Martin, Bentley, and others, they have unveiled a new model just for the large market. Called the ‘Wei Long,’ this special one-off model is a way of showing the dedication that Bugatti has to the Chinese market with special cultural symbols and magnificent artwork.

Even though others automotive brands are trying to woo the Chinese market, nobody can do it quite like Bugatti. The new Veyron Grand Sport Wei Long is an example of the power, beauty, and craftsmanship that cannot be matched by other luxury marques.

The new Bugatti Veyron Wei Long pays homage to the Dragon – a meaningful symbol in the Chinese culture that represents power and good luck. The new Veyron Grand Sport Wei Long was developed in partnership with Königliche Porzellan Manufaktur Berlin; the same company that helped created the Veyron L’Or Blanc.

Both Bugatti and Königliche Porzellan Manufaktur Berlin designed detailed sculptures for the Veyron Grand Sport Wei Long. Both the oil and fuel caps feature intricate Dragon sculptures made of porcelain to reflect the heritage the super car pays homage to. The exterior of the Bugatti Veyron Wei Long is a mix of brilliant white paint and glistening porcelain with contrasting dark colored elements such as the side skirts and rear diffuser. Each wheel is beautifully polished and features red accents and a porcelain centerpiece with Chinese characters.

The Bugatti Veyron Wei Long features an elegant and luxurious carmine red interior with unique porcelain accents. Each seat wears soft red leather with embossed Bugatti logos in the center and embroidered headrests with Chinese Dragon characters. Between the seats sits an intricate porcelain Dragon relief sculpture with flawless detail. Special porcelain elements are used throughout the center console, dashboard, and lower areas of the interior. The Veyron Grand Sport Wei Long was also given handcrafted floor mats with the Chinese Dragon characters.

The Bugatti Veyron Wei Long model will appear alongside the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse at the Beijing Auto Show. The Wei Long one-off model will be available for 1.58 million Euros, while the Grand Sport Vitesse will cost 1.80 million Euros.
