Force-fed AMG time!

The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG features the most powerful version of the legendary naturally-aspirated M159 6.2-liter V-8 engine that is hand built by the German automaker. It’s the engine’s last hurrah, as it is being replaced by smaller, more efficient and more powerful bi-turbo motors in other AMG models. But for now, it lives on, and McChip-DKR ensures that it will hold onto the AMG performance crown for quite some time thanks to the new MC700 SLS AMG upgrade.

With the new McChip-DKR MC700 upgrade, the M159 V-8 is no longer naturally-aspirated. The kit features a new supercharger system that has variable stages of performance. Stage One features the mechanically-driven supercharger, while Stage Two ups power with a more potent supercharger feeding each of the eight cylinders with more boost pressure. Things start to get pretty heavy in Stage Three where a new Capristo exhaust system with valve controls and a new software upgrade bring output to 680 horsepower and 569 lb-ft. of torque. Stage Four includes a new set of sport catalytic converters along with a more aggressive software tune to achieve that magic “700” mark with 706 horsepower and 585 lb-ft. of torque.

The SLS AMG “MC700” will sit on an entirely new suspension designed by KW Suspension. Customers can choose from either a DDC- or HLS 4-sports chassis that is hydraulically controlled and offers the same comfortable ride quality for daily driving, but can also carve up corners with ease when needed. The finishing touch is a new exterior vinyl wrap by CoverEFX in a matte grey and red color scheme.

The McChip-DKR MC700 SLS AMG upgrade will be available for 69,000 Euros for Stage One with each stage increasing in price thereafter, Stage Four being 9,099 Euros extra. The entire chassis plus installation is available for 12,999 Euros while the CoverEFX wrap is available for 5,999 Euros.
