Time to get Crazy with the Manhart MH6 700 BMW M6 (F13)

Manhart MH6 700 BMW M6

The new F13 BMW M6 has moved past the days of the polarizing Bangle design and has moved into a more powerful and efficient world with its twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V-8. It’s packed with more potential than ever before, and that makes it quite the favorite for tuning companies around the world, especially Manhart who have created the high-performance MH6 700 with supercar-like power figures.

The Manhart MH6 700 BMW M6 (F13) made its debut at the 2013 Essen Motor Show, showcasing its crazy power output. The twin-turbocharged, 4.4-liter V-8 engine was given the Manhart “Stage 4” upgrade kit that includes a software tune for the DME control system, a carbon fiber air intake, and a full stainless steel with downpipes, sports catalytic converters, rear mufflers, and 100 mm tailpipes.

Those basic modifications equate to an incredible 743 horsepower and 703 lb-ft. of torque – an increase of almost 200 horsepower and 200 lb-ft. After some difficulty launching, Manhart was able to achieve a 0-62 mph time of 3.8 seconds with the MH6 700. Acceleration from 62 mph to 124 mph is more impressive, taking just 6.3 seconds to complete and the sprint from 50 mph to 155 mph takes only 12.4 seconds. Top speed is all the way back at 199 mph.

The power hidden beneath the hood is clearly evident in the new bodywork from Manhart. The MH6 700 features a carbon fiber kit that includes a front spoiler with optional “RS” blade, rear diffuser, trunk lid spoiler, and new hood with “GTR” air inlets to keep things cool. Carbon fiber is also worn on the side mirrors and front skirt covers, and available in semi-gloss or high-gloss finishes. After the bodywork was installed, the Manhart team gave the BMW M6 a full longitudinal cross-section aluminum metallic wrap with embossed Manhart logos and an engine hood partially or completely painted to customer specification.

The sleek, grand touring coupe was given a few chassis upgrades that accentuate its shape and speed. Manhart installed a set of KW Variant 3 coilovers with adjustable rebound that have been tuned specifically by the German company and lower the overall ride height. Cast versions of the in-house Concave ONE wheels sit in a large 21-inch diameter and are shod in 265/30ZR21 front and 305/25ZR21 rear Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires to keep the MH6 700 sticking to the asphalt.

All of the upgrades featured on the Manhart MH6 700 BMW M6 F13 are currently available for those looking to give their M6 supercar-like power figures.
