Giving the mighty 6.2 some forced induction.

HMS tuning has unveiled their new supercharged SLS AMG upgrade program that takes Mercedes-Benz’s super car to a whole other level of performance with the help of a blower and thunderous exhaust.

The new Xtra Power supercharger is designed to force-feed all eight cylinders in the 6.2-liter V-8 engine with a consistent amount of boost pressure and turn the rear tires into smoke. The standard 563 horsepower and 480 lb-ft. of torque can be considered boring after the installation of the new blower. After the upgrade by HMS Tuning, the supercharged SLS AMG can crank out an astonishing 720 horsepower and 614 lb-ft. of torque.

Drivers will not only hear the crying supercharger at the press of the throttle, but also a deep exhaust note thanks to a performance exhaust system with valve controls. The new exhaust also helps to reduce any backpressure in the supercharged SLS for better throttle response.

The HMS Tuning Xtra Power supercharger and exhaust system can be installed on any Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG models and come with TÜV approval.
