Inside Performance Makes a Predatory BMW X6 M ‘White Shark’

Too bad ‘Shark Week’ is over.

Sharks are the big, nasty predators of the sea that might be large in size, but are incredibly agile and skilled at the craft of killing. The same can be said about the BMW X6 M. Although it may be a bit lacking in the agility department because of the type of vehicle that it is, the team at Inside Performance has turned it into a predator on the asphalt with its ‘White Shark’ upgrade.

The twin-turbocharged, 4.4-liter V-8 engine used in the BMW X6 M is the perfect starting point for the performance aspect of the conversion. The team at Inside Performance was able to tap into the vast potential crammed into the V-8 engine through the addition of a new specially-developed exhaust system with motorsport catalytic converters to help decrease backpressure, flap controls for better volume, and mufflers. After a nice little ECU tune, the engine cranks out a whopping 700 horsepower and 737 lb-ft. of torque. This enables the Inside Performance BMW X6 M White Shark to hit 62 mph in just 3.8 seconds and hit a top speed of 199 mph, putting it at the top of the food chain on the road.

Aside from its white paint, the Inside Performance BMW X6 White Shark showcases its nickname through a new widebody kit. The kit includes extended front and rear fenders connected by a pair of side skirts. The front fascia gains a new spoiler for some added downforce while the rear boasts a subtle trunklid spoiler.

To make the BMW X6 M more agile like the predator it was named after, Inside Performance added on a new set of Hamman Motorsport wheels and coilovers. The White Shark rides on a new set of black-finished, 10.5 x 22 ET20 front and 12.0 x 22 ET12 wheels wearing 295/30 ZR22 front and 335/25 ZR22 rear sport tires for added grip. This grip is managed by a new set of a lowered suspension setup for better handling agility.
