Leading the eight titans of power.
The Greek God, Cronos led twelve Titans and ruled during the Golden Age of Greek mythology. Now, Mansory has a new Greek God, Gronos, who leads eight titans and two turbochargers with its carbon fiber, custom interior, and rugged capabilities.
The Mansory Gronos Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG and G 65 AMG are yellow and carbon fiber titans of power. Although the V-12 version is still in testing phases, its V-8 G 63 AMG sibling has undergone the refinement and looks to conquer all types of terrain from the rugged off-road to the asphalt.
The entire exterior of the Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG has been completely upgraded with an array of in-house autoclave carbon fiber and vibrant Magic Yellow paint. The front bumper is wider and more powerful with its gaping air intakes, carbon fiber fins, and integrated LED daytime running lights. Carbon fiber is even worn by the headlights that stare ahead and sit atop indicator lights embedded into the bodywork. The carbon fiber hood wears new air intakes to cool the engine and emphasizes the power hidden beneath it. But the most noticeable aspect of the Gronos conversion is the extended fenders and side skirts that widen the track by 20 mm on each side. Each side of the performance SUV also includes naked carbon fiber mirrors, trim pieces, and a roof up top that ends with a rear spoiler.
The wide wheel arches make room for a set of new forged wheels that make their public appearance on the Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG Gronos. The ten double-spoke wheels are finished in gloss black and wear a Magic Yellow outline to match the exterior carbon and yellow color scheme. Mansory installed the wheels in a 23-inch diameter at the front and rear, and wear high-performance 305/30/23 Vredestein Ultrac Vorti tires.
The standard 5.5-liter, twin-turbocharged V-8 engine with 544 bhp has undergone a tune of titanic proportions thanks to Mansory. Engineers gave the bi-turbo V-8 motorsports pistons, connecting rods, rod bearings, crankshaft, crank, and cylinder heads along with other components, and then a new full exhaust system with double stainless steel tailpipes that exit prior to the rear axle along each side. The new upgrades help the Gronos produce a thrilling 840 horsepower and electronically-limited 738 lb-ft. of torque.
The vibrant yellow and carbon fiber exterior carries over to the cockpit where Mansory engineers redesigned the dashboard and center console with full carbon fiber units. The in-house upholstery team gave the seats a mix of soft leather and yellow stitching with a variety of patterns along with the dashboard, door panels, and footwells. A new steering wheel, gauges, and aluminum foot pedals add another touch of enjoyment for the driver.
The Mansory Gronos Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG is currently available as an entire upgrade program. The G 65 AMG with V-12 engine is under development and will be available shortly for customers.
