Mitsubishi Evolution X w/ ISS Forged Spyder Wheels – Fitment Friday

Aside from building some of the hottest forged wheels on the market, the gear heads at ISS Forged also have a passion for being at the track. To further enhance their track experience the ISS team recently invested in a ‘shop track car’, being this stunning 2009 Mitsubishi Evolution X. The Evo is sporting a set of Spyder wheels from the ISS Forged GT Series. The Spyder is a performance driven three-piece forged wheel with a classic mesh design, perfectly matching the curves of this Evo.

For performance purposes this fitment was machined in race spec and paired with high-strength titanium fasteners, reducing the weight of the Spyder by up to two pounds. The centers are finished in the ISS special edition Lollipop blue with chrome lips. The fitment measures 18×10 inches wrapped in 265/35/18 Nitto NT05 tires all-around, giving this Evo X a 3/4 inch wider footprint than the factory wheels.

The Evolution X features a number of modifications that allow the team at ISS Forged to push both the car and wheels to the limit. With an Injen hard pipe kit, Greddy turbo-back exhaust, COBB accessPORT, and 75 shot of nitrous, the turbocharged inline-4 produces a whopping 350 awhp (all-wheel horsepower). The increase in power along with the extended aero body kit helps the Evo X to blast through the quarter mile in just 12.0 seconds, and reach a speed of 153 mph in the standing mile. Large Giro disc front rotors provide superb stopping power, while adjustable Tein Monoflex Coilovers with EDFC increase handling dynamics.
