All the right stuff.

The Porsche 911 Carrera GTS and 911 Carrera 4 GTS models are for those that want more athleticism from their 911 without jumping into the Turbo or GT3 ranges. TechArt is giving those customers a bigger opportunity to custom tailor their GTS with a wide range of styling and performance parts. While they may not offer up huge power gains or dramatic aesthetic transformations, the new TechArt upgrades have all the right stuff in all the right places.

There’s not much in terms of huge power gains coming from the TechArt Porsche 911 Carrera GTS program, but there doesn’t need to be when there’s a 430 horsepower 3.8-liter flat-six engine stuck up your butt. Customers can opt for the standard valve-controlled TechArt sport exhaust system with dual twin tailpipes or a sportier, motorsport-inspired system with two central tailpipes. The latter also incorporates controlled valves that adjust the sound depending on the driving style.

The chassis of the Porsche 911 Carrera GTS and 911 Carrera 4 GTS models can be tuned for performance without sacrificing everyday drivability. New sport springs sharpen up handling and allow for a better center of gravity. Owners can also opt for a TechArt Noselift system that raises the front axle by 45 mm at the push of a button, and lowers automatically to help overcome obstacles such as parking ramps.

The final touch in the performance segment for the 911 Carrera GTS models are new TechArt wheels. Center-locking TechArt Formula IV Race wheels with a five, twin-spoke design can be installed in 20-inch diameters at the front and rear. The forged wheels offer a strong construction and low overall weight thanks to the new forging and undercutting processes during manufacturing, making them ideal for the performance-minded driver. Each wheel is available with a variety of finishes and colors.

Visually, TechArt was able to have a great deal of fun with the 911 Carrera GTS models. The TechArt Aerokit offers up better aerodynamic balance and downforce while setting the sports car apart from the pack. The front fascia gains a new spoiler that reduces lift while a roof spoiler and rear spoiler help to generate downforce and add some visual athleticism. Side skirts keep the profile clean and wide while individually-colored or carbon fiber trim pieces for the mirrors, air outlets, headlights, and more give a distinct, custom touch to the sports car.
