If you want power and torque with efficiency, look no further than the F32 BMW 435d xDrive. Its high-output turbodiesel six-cylinder engine is able to lay down the torque with spectacular efficiency for responsible fun. G-Power had bigger things in mind for the 435d and have unleashed a torque monster with their new software tune.
The 3.0-liter inline-six cylinder diesel engine with two turbochargers holds quite a bit of potential that G-Power was able to tap into. Engineers spent quite a bit of time working on the software and testing on the dynometer, everyday driving, and the Autobahn to ensure a reliable and durable tuning solution. Much of the experience gained in their previous twin-turbocharged vehicles gave them a leg up in the tuning department.
The new software tune optimizes the factory electronics and increases output by 67 horsepower and 92 lb-ft. of torque for a total of 380 horsepower and 557 lb-ft. of torque. That’s more than enough to drastically reduce the factory 4.7-second 0-62 mph acceleration time for the 435d xDrive. The torque figure exceeds the factory BMW M3/M4 models and is only matched by that of the G-Power M5 V10 Hurricane RR with its twin-turbocharged V-10 engine that set a record as being the fastest sedan in the world.
As part of the software tune, customers also have the option to remove the factory top speed limiter to push further in the triple-digit range. The featured BMW 435d xDrive model by G-Power was also shown with the company’s own 20-inch Hurricane RR forged wheels made from lightweight aluminum alloy that further improves performance and style.
The new G-Power Bi-Tronik 2 V1 software tuning module and top speed limiter removal are currently available from the German tuning company for the BMW 435d xDrive.
