Where a few things make for a lot more fun.

With the BMW 4-Series being such a new model in the German automaker’s lineup, Hamann Motorsport took their time designing and developing an upgrade program that would improve all aspects of the coupe. While other companies were rolling out their versions, Hamann was busy at work, and it paid off with their new program featured on this BMW 435i xDrive.

The new Hamann BMW 435i has it all, starting with a more aggressive and powerful exterior design. The factory styling and design is complemented and enhanced with the new aerodynamics as to not take away from the character of the car. Hamann installed a Competition front lip spoiler that fits perfectly on the front bumper and adds a touch of downforce while its edges move upwards towards the wheel wells. The rear continues the trend with a larger spoiler atop the trunk that conforms to the curve of the tail while laser-engraved Hamann stainless steel tailpipes protrude beneath.

This exterior transformation is furthered with the addition of a fine-tuned suspension designed to make the all-wheel drive BMW 435i xDrive quicker on its feet. Hamann Motorsport dropped the ride height by 20 mm and tuned the sport springs to work in harmony with the adaptive suspension to carve up corners. Grabbing at the asphalt are high-performance 225/35 ZR20 front and 255/30 ZR20 rear tires worn by Hamann Anniversary Evo lightweight alloy wheels measuring 8.5 x 20 all around.

Hamann’s fine-tuning of the BMW 435i is instantly noticeable upon a push of the throttle pedal. The twin-turbocharged, 3.0-liter inline-six was given a full ECU tune that bumps output up to 360 horsepower from 1,200 RPM to 5,000 RPM and 384 lb-ft. of torque. That’s a healthy 54 ponies and 89 lb-ft. of torque over the factory output.

The final aspect of the upgrade package can be found inside the cabin of the BMW 435i xDrive. The standard package from Hamann includes new sport pedals, foot rests, floor mats, and Hamann headrests. For customers that want that extra custom-tailored touch, Hamann Motorsport will trim the entire cabin with leather upholstery in a variety of colors.

All of the upgrades featured on the BMW 435i xDrive are currently available from Hamann Motorsport as an entire package or individual accessories. Also be sure to keep your eye out for their upcoming program for the BMW M4.
