Look at those muscles!
The BMW M6 Gran Coupe was designed to be a sleek and sporty four-door coupe with loads of power. The team at Prior Design had bigger aspirations for the grand tourer with their widebody PD6XX body kit and even more power to back up the new looks.
The new Prior Design PD6XX BMW M6 Gran Coupe (F06) is a visually dynamic and statement of power and performance. The entire sports car has been transformed with the PD6XX widebody kit from the front to the rear and everything in between.
The front fascia has been changed thanks to a new bumper with larger air intakes, cup wings, and spoiler sword for better downforce and cooling properties. Also aiding in the cooling department is a new hood with numerous air outlets to help dissipate heat. Both of the front fenders have been extended and have integrated air outlets to help cool the brakes. These fenders are connected with the extended rear fenders thanks to a set of new two-level side skirts. The rear of the Prior Design PD6XX BMW M6 Gran Coupe sports a new bumper with integrated high-gloss black diffuser and air outlets. Atop the trunk sits a new spoiler to generate downforce.
The exterior design is then finished off with a new set of concave ADV.1 wheels. The 15-spoke, gold-finished wheels were fitted in a 10.5 x 20 front and 12.5 x 20 rear setup with Dunlop Sport Maxx tires for loads of grip. To sharpen up handling a bit, a new H&R threaded chassis was installed that also lowered the ride height for a clean fitment setup.
While the factory BMW M6 Gran Coupe’s engine is more than enough to back up the muscular styling of the PD6XX, the Prior Design team wanted to give the four-door coupe even more power. The 4.4-liter, twin-turbocharged V-8 engine was tuned and given an additional 98 horsepower and 103 lb-ft. of torque for a total of 650 horsepower and 605 lb-ft. All that power is audible thanks to a set of quad tailpipes in the newly-installed stainless steel sports exhaust system.
To complete the overall package, the Prior Design PD6XX BMW M6 Gran Coupe was given a newly designed interior. Soft nappa leather and grippy alcantara mix together in various colors and stitching patterns to create a sporty yet comfortable cabin. The brown and black color combination extends to every nook and cranny in the cabin and even carries over to the child booster seat for the rear seats.
All of the upgrades from the wheels to the engine and bodywork are currently available for the F06 BMW M6 Gran Coupe from Prior Design. All of the bodywork components in the PD6XX can also be ordered in carbon fiber as well.
