Taking the concept out for a drive.
Remember that super-ultra-lightweight concept car that Lamborghini made to showcase their advanced weight-saving technology and design direction? Well, someone was smart enough to bring along a video camera and record it firing up in public. The new Lamborghini Sesto Elemento video gives us a sneak peek at what kinds of hell this V-10 powered concept could unleash.
Only 20 examples of the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento are planned for production. The super car weighs in at just 2,198.8 lbs (999 kg.) thanks to the use of carbon fiber and lightweight materials, and is powered by a 570 horsepower 5.2-liter V-10 engine. The low weight and incredible output enables the car to hit 62 mph in 2.5 seconds and achieve a top speed of over 186 mph.
Thanks to BrianZuk and their Sesto Elemento video, we’re able to listen to the super-rare, super-lightweight, super car start up and take a short drive.
We just can’t wait until the production models hit the track!
